In this video, we(my husband) made a bed from scratch to replace ours that was messed up and hazardous for our kids. We turned our small apartment dining room into a workshop and we made a DIY King bed for $70. It's stronger than anything that we have bought in the store and it cost wayyyyy less.
It was even more cost effective because we didn't stain or paint the wood we use. We just left the natural look. We may do it in the future but for now a bedskirt will do.
